To use the widget in your auctions is easy. You just fill out a simple form and we'll put the widget right into your auctions. When you sign up to use the widget we'll show you the auctions you have running and let you select which ones you want the widget in. After you've signed up, eBay will tell us when you list new auctions so the widget can be inserted automatically.
The IWantCollectibles Free eBay Watcher Widget is an eBay Compatible Application. It was developed by a member of the eBay Developers Program and passed the Standard Application Certification process to work directly with the eBay Platform, thereby earning the right to wear the eBay Compatible logo.
The watcher widget is also secure. eBay doesn't share your log in information with us, they just let us insert the necessary code into your auctions.
How It Works
Because this is an eBay approved application, eBay will notify us every 15 minutes of the watch counts on your auctions if they've changed. The system then updates the count in your auctions. During these updates eBay will also notify us if you've listed new auctions so the code can be passed to eBay and inserted into your auctions.
It's as easy as putting a counter in your auctions, except once you set it up you don't have to change anything again.
There is no cost to use the free version.
There is an advanced version of The IWantCollectibles Free eBay Watcher Widget that allows you to set border colors, hide widgets with low numbers, and tell the widget where to appear in your auctions. The advanced version is a membership bonus included with The IWantCollectibles Private eBay forum. The private forum is cheap to join and includes other helpful bonuses.
